3a roll-over to the cashew meats

Finally, the raw cashews are roasted at 225 degrees for 2 hours and when cool, they're ready to eat. The trees drop fruit from January through May and the fruit is edible, related to the mango family. Cashew fruits are also a favorite of the fruit bats, an important way of dispersing the seeds which are dropped after the bat has finished the fruit.
