In the rear of our bungalow are the springs, which constantly flow to form a large pool for communal bathing, washing and swimming

Thought you might be interested in some of the fruits growing locally in March. Except for the mangosteens, everything is here in the yard.

1.Guavas and kalamansis

2. Mangosteens, my favorite, indescribable joy!

3. Rambutan, about the size of a prune plum.

Below left, our home for three months in Nasuli, the name of the S.I.L. Center in the province of Bukidnon, Mindanao.
Bottom left is a typical sari-sari, with bags of soy sauce & oil hanging for purchase above the dried fish. Also a stand with mangos, peanuts and rambutan. Around us we see pineapples and bananas growing, but I was really intrigued by the cashews.

Cashews, one nut per fruit, no wonder they're expensive.
