left, our home for three months in Nasuli, the
name of the S.I.L. Center in the province of Bukidnon, Mindanao.
Bottom left is a typical sari-sari,
with bags of soy sauce & oil hanging for purchase above the dried fish.
Also a stand with mangos, peanuts and rambutan. Around
us we see pineapples and bananas growing, but I was really intrigued by the
cashews.
Cashews,one nut per fruit, no wonder they're expensive.
