Even if we reject Jesus in this life, we are going to meet Him after death. There is no doubt that it is much better to accept Jesus as our savior now, in time of grace, than to see Him as Judge on the Day of Judgment. Every person is going to see Him face to face and give an account of his of her life. All the sins of men are evil, and the wrath of God comes upon them. But there is one sin that is exceptionally evil and it is unbelief. Jesus suffered for our sins, even the worst ones, and (paid a ransom to free us from their captivity). The greatest evil is not to believe in the Redeemer. The main criterion determining our eternity in the Judgment will be our attitude towards Jesus. Who Jesus is for me on earth will determine my destiny after death. My attitude does not change Jesus. He is the beginning and the end and I am sustained by His power. My attitude towards Him however, can completely change me. Believing in Him, I find my beginning because He created me. When I accept Him, my life changes. The power of sin (blindness and captivity) is broken and I can get in touch with the source and power of life. Committing myself to Him, I realize what I was created for and understand my purpose. Life with Jesus is truly a brand new life. Only by believing in Him will you be happy now and forever.
